![]() Skanderborg LHB, Wicketkeeper. He has proved himself recently by spending time in Australia and this year has earned himself a contract with the MCC ground-staff. |
![]() Nykøbing Mors First change bowler and middle order batsman. Strikes the ball very hard and has been used as a pinch hitter. |
![]() Svanholm A former professional with Hampshire, Thomas is Denmark's second left-arm strike bowler and a very useful middle batsman. |
![]() Herning Right hand opening bat. Very experienced, having spent wintertime abroad. He has now taken over the captaincy of Herning and takes part in coaching young Danish talent. |
![]() Skanderborg RHB, OB. His size might deceive the opposition but he hits the ball very hard. Has spent winters in Australia and South Africa and is developing as an off-spin bowler. |
![]() Nørrebro RHB. 61 caps since 1989 and the most experienced batsman in the squad. A very entertaining batsman with exquisite wristy timing. |
![]() Svanholm RHB. Has also spent time in Australia. Very quick between the wickets, although he often gets run out. One of Denmark's best fielders. |
![]() Svanholm Young Bobby is slowly becoming a steady leg-spin bowler who can spin the ball quite heavily. Also a useful tail-end batsman who can hang around for quite a while. |
![]() Nørrebro Omar is a newcomer to the Danish squad as the team's slow left arm-spinner and late order batsman. |
![]() Svanholm Returns to the squad as a right handed batsman and wicketkeeper. Is at present captain of Svanholm. |
![]() Glostrup Henrik Hansen joins the squad as a fast right-handed opening bowler. Henrik has improved immensely over the past year after a lengthy visit to South Africa that has hardened him to the burden of opening the bowling. |
![]() Coach Has taken over the responsibility of coaching Denmark after Ole Mortensen. He is not a full time coach but his experience of playing for Denmark since 1982, as well as being captain for many years, will be an advantage in gain success at these Championships. |
