Ian McGregor has named his Warriors squad for the penultimate round of T20 matches this Friday evening as the North West side travels south to Merrion for another tussle with Leinster Lightning.
The Head Coach finds himself once again hampered by availability issues; there's no Johnny Thompson, Gary McClintock, William McClintock or Andy Britton in the 12 albeit that gives some of the squad members the chance to stake their claim.
The good news for McGregor is that skipper Andy McBrine, fellow Irish International Craig Young and Strabane all-rounder Aaron Gillespie are all back after injuries while Irosh Samarasooriya also returns to the fold. Graham Kennedy is back in as well as the Ballyspallen teenager prepares to head away on Ireland under-19 world cup duty while his club-mates get ready for the senior cup final.
Perhaps the most notable inclusion in the Warriors list is Aaron Heywood- the Fox Lodge spinner rewarded for some really good domestic performances for the Ballymagorry side. Aaron's inclusion means that the Head Coach has now called up every one of his Winter Training Squad at one time or another this season.
A win for the hosts on Friday will see them wrap up yet another title with a game to spare, however should the visitors spring a major surprise then they will take the race into the final round of matches next month.
Action at Anglesea Road gets under way at 5pm.
