Harry Carlyon elected to bat first after winning the toss, but on a pitch which gave plenty of assistance to the seamers he must have regretted this decision as the Scottish new-ball pairing of Oliver Brown and Ihtesham Malik quickly reduced his side to 21 for four.
Brown’s five-over spell yielded three wickets at a cost of 12 runs, earning him the Player of the Match award, while off-spinner Haroon Tahir took three for 9 as the Jersey collapse continued.
