Adam Heasley scored a brilliant century on his home ground at Belmont to get NCU Under 15’s defence of their crown off to a winning start with an emphatic 214-run win over Munster.
Heasley struck 14 fours and a six in his 112, sharing an opening stand of 120 with Seb Yeates, and 127 for the second wicket with Adam Leckey.

Skipper Leckey hit an even time 70, while there were late runs too for James West, who hit five boundaries in a rapid 22.
The final total of 339 for 7 was bolstered by 66 extras, with Kanishk Kumar taking three wickets and Muhammad Ahmadzai two.
Kumar top-scored with a defiant 35 in the Munster reply of 125.
Best of the home side attack was Mark Hanna who took 3 for 17, while there were two wickets apiece for Seb Yeates and Alex Armstrong.
