The North West opened their account in the Under 15 interpros with a comfortable seven-wicket win against Munster at SeaPark.

Aadi Maini of North Down, playing as a guest for the Cork side, top-scored with 23 as they were dismissed for 80 – Kanishk Kumar (15) the only other player to reach double figures.

Charlie Downey of Newbuildings took three early wickets, while Bready’s Matthew Collum claimed 4 for 21 in a fine bowling effort.

The North West lost three wickets as they chased their modest target in the 16th over, with Cody Mehaffey hitting 6 fours and a six in a fluent 47 from 50 balls.
