Ireland U17 girls wrapped up a 3-1 series win with a comfortable nine-wicket victory over The Netherlands in Utrecht.

The hosts looked well placed at 50 for 1 with runs again for Phebe Molkenboer (31).

However, yet again Rush bowler Ellie McGee was again in the wickets, taking 3 for 8 as they slumped to 83 all out – two wickets too for Lara McBride.

In the chase, Anna Squires (7) went cheaply, but an unbroken stand of 73 for the second wicket between McBride and Aoife Walsh eased Ireland to the win.

McBride finished unbeaten on 35, while Walsh made 34 not out in an impressive win.
