The NW won an U13 Challenge match at Newbuildings as they chased 135 to beat Leinster 'B' by 6 wickets.

Suyesh Kumar hit 7 boundaries in an undefeated 72, setting the platform for the chase with an opening stand of 59 with his Bready team mate Ben Campbell (20).

Adil Naizam took three wickets to set up a tense finish, but Olli Britton (11*) settled the nerves along with Kumar.

Earlier Joe Russell's 57 was the top-score for Leinster, as he and Ryan Keenan (18) also shared a half century stand.

Adam Allen (3-38) and M Robinson (2-6) were the best of the home side bowlers, who showed the clear benefit of playing in last week's U13 World Cup tournament in the region.
