It was a very good season for Waringstown, who won the NCU T20 and Challenge Cups, while also making the final of the All-Ireland Cup.
What makes their success all the more impressive is the fact that due to injuries, work commitments and international call-ups they were very rarely able to get their first choice team on the field.
Their batting was spearheaded by Morgan Topping and Greg Thompson who both passed the 1000-run landmark.
While Greg's international days are behind them, it can't be too long before Topping gets his chance at a higher level.
Another noteworthy fact is the strike-rate of Thompson's 1081 runs - 135.12 - quite remarkable!
Overseas player Pat Botha made 713 at just under 40, whole Adam Dennison hit 617 at just over 30, while james McCollum's 402 runs came at an average of just over 50.
The bowling wasn't as impressive - Graham Hume's 'workload' saw him bowl only 39 overs for them all season. When you see that 41 year-old James Anderson bowled 40 overs alone in the 5th Ashes Test at The Oval, something needs to change.
The skipper Thompson headed the bowling charts with 41 wickets, ahead of Ben Snell (30 at just under 25), Pat Botha (29 at 23.93) and Rory Bessell (28 at 18).
Head Coach James Cameron-Dow and James Mitchell each took 16, while Seby Best got 13.
The season certainly tested the squad depth and the club will be all the stronger for it in 2024.
You wouln't be too surprised if more silverware is Lawn bound.
