Holders Instonians retained the Banoge Cup with a six wickets win overs a spirited Derriaghy at Queensway.
Batting first, the home side were in early trouble at 12 for 4, but rallied to 73 with Oscar Benson making 20 and Jacob Dumigan 10.
Ethan Walker claimed 3 for 6, while there were two wickets apiece for Archie Morgan, Cameron Wilson, and David Agnew, while the other scalp went to Robbie Moore.
Runners-up Derriaghy
John Hall (3-24) gave the home support something to cheer, but David Agnew hit six fours in a fluent 30 as Instonians flexed their muscles, while Vidhath Geddam hit 3 fours and a six in his 6-ball unbeaten 18, as the holders won by 6 wickets in the 9th over - Tom Shearer the other successful Derriaghy bowler.
NCU President Brian Walsh presented the trophy to skipper David Agnew, and paid tribute to all the parents and coaches that make this cup such a special competition in the Union's calendar.
