Derriaghy moved level on points with Lurgan at the top of Section One thanks to another powerful display, with Reece Malone again among the runs. Batting first, Belfast struggled with Ferhan Saeed scoring 52 (5 fours, 3 sixes) out of their total of 116. Craig Lewis took 4 for 39, while there were three wickets for professional Renco Adams and two for Wayne Hughes. Early wickets for Mohammed Sameer had the Queensway side wobbling slightly at 22 for 3, but Malone thumped seven fours and four sixes in his 38- ball unbeaten 60, adding an unbroken 95 in 10 overs for the fourth wicket with Ryan Beckett (30*).

Cregagh revived their promotion hopes with a six wicket win at bottom of the table Drumaness Superkings. Adam McCormick took four wickets as the home side were bowled out for 155 - Neil Walsh making 35. McCormick then showcased his all-round abilities by thumping 8 fours and 2 sixes in a 38-ball 55, adding 83 in 11 overs with Sarthak Kareer (27) to make the result a formality.
