College Park in Trinity College Dublin will be the venue for the Leinster Cricket Union's two home fixtures in the three day inter-provincial competition.

The famous venue has been allocated and accepted Leinster's three day games against the North West and the Northern Cricket Union.

The games are part of Cricket Ireland's new look Inter-provincial series which will see contests between the three regions in 50 over, Twenty20, and 3 day cricket.

College Park was the venue for the Ireland A v Bangladesh A three day game in 2008 - an occasion marred by the death of John Wright during the encounter.

It also successfully hosted the Leinster Cup final won by Railway Union in July 2010.

The Leinster Union are currently holding a contest on their Facebook page to decide their moniker for the abbreviated contests. The NW have chosen Warriors, and the NCU Knights in their respective competitions.
