The Northern Knights have named their squad for the opening clash with Leinster Lightning at The Hills next Monday (10:45am start).

Andrew White skippers what looks at first glance a very youthful squad, with places for North Down teenager Peter Eakin and Civil Service North recent signing Mark Adair.

North West exiles Phil Eaglestone and Chris Dougherty are included while Carrickfergus all-rounder Mike Taiaroa gets an opportunity to show the Irish selectors just what he's capable of.

Waringstown have four representatives in the squad with James Hall, Lee Nelson and Gary Kidd named in addition to Eaglestone.
