Clontarf opening batsman Bill Coghlan and Railway Union all-rounder Patrick Collins have been named in a Leinster Lightning 12 man squad for the clash against the North West Warriors.
Coghlan was the leading run scorer in Leinster cricket in 2012, while Collins recorded the best all-round performance in Leinster cricket at the weekend since the legendary Gerry Duffy way back in 1954!
The Railway Union professional followed up a score of 102 with a seven wicket haul in a quite remarkable performance.
Lightning coach Trent Johnston has given himself a watching brief, while Pembroke all-rounder Andrew Balbirmie has examinations at Cardiff University.
Other players not available included Paul Lawson (examinations), Peter Chase and Barry McCarthy (both injured).
Play for the three day game gets under way from Tuesday at 11am at College Park and admission is free.
