There will be no replay of the abandoned NW warriors versus Northern Knights game that was called off at Coleraine on Saturday.

Torrential rain meant the game was called off on Saturday night with the square and outfield under water.

The possibility of a replay was mooted although there was no provision for it in the tournament regulations.

Cricket Ireland confirmed this afternoon that game will be declared a no result saying: "The logistics of trying to organise reserve days in what is a packed schedule already mean that it will not happen. Both teams will be awarded the 2 points for a No Result."

The next game in the RSA Inter-Provincial Cup sees Leinster Lightning host Northern Warriors at Malahide on June 1.
