The NW Warriors selectors have named an unchanged squad for this weekend's clash with Leinster at Malahide (10:45am).

There are concerns over the fitness of Strabane opening bowler Peter Connell who suffered a calf strain in their cup defeat last weekend. The Irish international will undergo a fitness test at tomorrow night's training session at Eglinton.

The Warrior's last fixture, scheduled for Coleraine, was abandoned due to torrential rain, so they will be hoping for better fortune with the elements when they travel to Malahide, the new home of Irish international cricket in the South.

David Rankin and Niall McDonnell are the two highest run scorers in the NW, with 242 and 241 runs respectively, at an average just over 60, while Andrew McBrine and David Barr are also in the top 20.

On the bowling front, Warriors skipper Iftikhar Hussain with 12 is the second highest wicket taker in the region, while Peter Connell and Johnny Thompson are also in the top ten.

The Warriors will have to be at their very best if they are to come away with a win against the competition favourites. Lightning have still to announce their squad for the game but they can be expected to have at least six or seven senior internationals in their ranks.
