Donemana professional Kamran Sajjid hit a thrilling 70 to secure a six wicket win for the NW President's XI against the NW Warriors at Limavady.
Chasing 144, Sajjid hit 7 fours and 4 sixes in a classy display, well supported initially by Chris Pierce (23), and also by Roy Silva (20 - 3 sixes) and Jason Milligan (23*).
Tight bowling by Andy Britton who conceded just 12 runs in his four overs brought the game to the final over, but David Cooke remained cool to strike the fifth ball out of the park to seal the win.
Earlier Stuart Thompson had shown that he really is ambidextrous scoring the majority of his 46 runs (6 fours) with reverse sweeps!
Brian Allen struck 3 sixes in a quickfire 37, but there were ducks for Ryan Hunter, Ricky-Lee Dougherty and Andy Britton - the latter two to well disguised slower balls from Roy Silva (2-16).
Matthew Bentley (2-21) bowled tightly as did Kamran Sajid (1-16), Gary Neely (1-20) and William McBrine (1-27).
The Warriors face Leinster Lightning in T20 action at Pembroke on Friday - 12:30pm start.
