Lurgan were relegated from the top flight after a season in which they battled all the way but ultimately lost out on the final day of the campaign on Nett Run Rate.
They used a total of 20 players during the season - ten of whom played 12 games or more which indicates they had a fairly settled side throughout.
They finished 8th in the league, with four wins (Ballymena twice, CIYMS and CSN) and ten defeats.
In the Ulster Bank Senior Cup they exited in the second round losing by four wickets after a hard fought clash with Instonians.
They also put up a good show in the Irish Senior Cup, losing narrowly to Bready in a high scoring encounter.
A look at the batting shows they scored only 13 fifties and 1 hundred during 2013 - Niranjan Godbole was the centurion and also scored 5 of those 13 half centuries. In total he scored 605 runs at 40.33 - good enough for 6th place on the NCU aggregate list.
Stephen Johnston's 391 runs at 30.08 earned him 19th slot on the NCU list. Others worthy of note were Jamie Holmes 301 at 23.15, Stephen Chambers 295 at 21.07, and James McCollum 218 at 16.77.
The bowling saw Lurgan capture just 98 wickets all year, with Godbole again topping their averages.
He took 24 wickets at 21.17 - just enough to creep into the NCU top 20 at 18th. One place below him was John Guy who managed 23 wickets at 24.04.
Paul Stafford claimed 16 victims at 29.62 while Charlie Crasborn was the only other to reach double figures - his 12 costing 44.42 apiece.
On the fielding front Stephen Chambers claimed 15 dismissals behind the sticks, while Peter Haire and Stephen Johnston claimed six catches and Paul Safford five.
Lurgan have shown plenty of resilience in recent years and I've no doubt they will once again be at the forefront of a promotion push in 2014.
