John Mooney grabbed three wickets as Leinster Lightning's quartet of international bowlers proved too strong for the North-West Warriors on the second day of their NewsTalk FM InterPro Championship match at Malahide.
Mooney removed key batsmen David Rankin and Stuart Thompson on his way to figures of 3-34.
Sorensen, Eddie Richardson and Albert van der Merwe followed up with two wickets each for Lightning and it needed a fighting 55 not out from Ernest Kemm to take the Warriors to 188 all out, narrowly avoiding the follow on.
Fintan McAllister made an unbeaten half century in the final session and Bill Coghlan hit a rapid 36 as the home side closed on 116-1 in their second innings, an overall lead of 252 going into the final day.
