The Leinster Lightning selectors have the pleasure in announcing the following match day squad for our 3-day Inter-Provincial Championship game against the Northern Knights from 12th to the 14th of August 2014 in Waringstown Cricket.

John Mooney (Capt-North County), John Anderson, Ben Ackland & Tyrone Kane (all Merrion), Bill Coghlan & Andrew Poynter (both Clontarf), Simmi Singh & Albert Van der Merwe (both YMCA), Eddie Richardson (North County), Fintan McAllister (Malahide), Max Sorensen & Cormac McLoughlin (both The Hills)

This squad sees the inclusion of a fully fit vice-captain John Anderson with Pat Collins unfortunately missing out due to fracturing two of his toes playing for his club in last weekend. We wish him a speedy recovery.

After the disappointment of last weekend's T20 wash out, the Lightning are determined to retain this trophy. This is our final game of the competition this year and a win would be our fourth from four ensure that we wrap us the title.

The first ball will be bowled at 11am this coming Tuesday and admission is free.
